Nato a Napoli nel ’77 ed ha iniziato a suonare la chitarra all’età di 12 anni grazie alla passione per la musica trasmessagli dal padre Ciro Acampora, sassofonista professionista. 
Dal 1998 ha iniziato ad insegnare dopo essersi diplomato all'Accademia di Fiesole (FI) con 30/30 e lode con insegnanti del calibro di Giacomo Castellano, Michael Mellner, Valerio Morelli ed Alex Stornello. 
LA sua passione per la musica e per vari generi musicali , gli ha permesso di approfondire diversi stili, aiutato da insegnanti di diversa estrazione musicale che hanno reso varia la sua preparazione.
Ha insegnato in Campania e in Veneto dove all’attività d’insegnante e musicista, collaborando con scuole importanti della zona come l’MMI Padova e la scuola musicale "Ali di Cera" di Tezze sul Brenta (VI), specializzata all'insegnamento dei bambini della fascia di età compresa tra i 5 e i 14 anni.
Ha suonato in vari gruppi ed orchestre musicali di vario genere, svolgendo un intensa attività live in giro per varie regioni d’Italia con oltre 150 date l’anno. Ha inoltre collaborato con musicisti professionisti tra cui Diego Stacchiotti, Davide Piovesan, Massimo Barbato, Roberto Flora ed altri ancora.
Oltre alla sua attività live ha all'attivo tre album autoprodotti, con i Landguard/Axiom tre album ed un  EP ed alcune collaborazioni tra cui gli Hate Giving Day, Avi Rosenfeld, ecc..
Dopo aver conseguito l’abilitazione all’insegnamento dal presidente Alex Stornello, è nominato Coordinatore dell’MGI Campania e nel 2016 ha avuto l’incarico di Direttore didattico di MMI Campania e Coordinatore dei corsi MGI.
Ha inoltre frequentato il corso di Modern Jazz Institute (MJI) tenuto da Alex Stornello, dove ha migliorato la sua formazione musicale anche in ambito Jazz, in modo da poter applicare in maniera approfondita tutta la metodologia del nuovo percorso didattico.
Nel 2017 ha aperto le Clinic di prestigiosi musicisti come Guthrie Govan e Daniele Gottardo eseguendo brani inediti di prossima uscita.
Ha prodotto dei manuali didattici di vario livello, partendo dal solfeggio fino ad arrivare all'applicazione delle tecniche ritmiche e soliste dei più grandi musicisti degli ultimi 30 anni.
E’ un collaboratore per i prestigiosi marchi Ibanez, Zoom, Dogal Strings ed Essetipicks. 
Nel 2019 integra al suo corso di diploma, materiale tecnico/didattico di applicazione su strumenti multicorda (7-8-9 Corde) in modo da permettere all’allievo di sviluppare un proprio stile in linea con i trend musicali moderni.
Oltre all’attività di Insegnante presso MMI Ultrasuoni, lavora come session man ed arrangiatore per vari artisti in giro per il mondo adattandosi a vari generi musicali dimostrando una certa versatilità stilistica.
Molti dei suoi ex allievi, attualmente svolgono l’attività di musicista ed insegnante in prestigiose scuole sparse in giro per l’Italia e all'estero.

Born in Naples in '77 and began playing the guitar at the age of 12 thanks to the passion for music transmitted to him by his father Ciro Acampora, a professional saxophonist.
Since 1998 he started teaching after graduating from the Academy of Fiesole (FI) with 30/30 cum laude with teachers of the caliber of Giacomo Castellano, Michael Mellner, Valerio Morelli and Alex Stornello.
His passion for music and for various musical genres, has allowed him to deepen different styles, helped by teachers from different musical backgrounds who have made his preparation varied.
He has taught in Campania and in Veneto where as a teacher and musician, collaborating with important schools in the area such as MMI Padova and the "Ali di Cera" music school in Tezze sul Brenta (VI), specialized in teaching children between the ages of 5 and 14.
He has played in various musical groups and orchestras of various genres, carrying out an intense live activity around various regions of Italy with over 150 dates a year. He has also collaborated with professional musicians including Diego Stacchiotti, Davide Piovesan, Massimo Barbato, Roberto Flora and others.
In addition to his live activity he has three self-produced albums to his credit, with Landguard/Axiom three albums and an EP and some collaborations including Hate Giving Day, Avi Rosenfeld, etc.
After obtaining the teaching qualification from President Alex Stornello, he was appointed Coordinator of MGI Campania and in 2016 he was appointed Director of Education of MMI Campania and Coordinator of MGI courses.
He also attended the Modern Jazz Institute (MJI) course held by Alex Stornello, where he improved his musical training also in the Jazz field, in order to be able to apply in depth all the methodology of the new didactic path.
In 2017 he opened the Clinics of prestigious musicians such as Guthrie Govan and Daniele Gottardo performing unreleased songs that are soon to be released.
He has produced teaching manuals of various levels, starting from solfeggio up to the application of the rhythmic and solo techniques of the greatest musicians of the last 30 years.
He is a collaborator for the prestigious brands Ibanez, Zoom, Dogal Strings and Essetipicks.
In 2019 he integrates his diploma course with technical / teaching material for application on multi-string instruments (7-8-9 strings) in order to allow the student to develop their own style in line with modern musical trends.
In addition to teaching activity at MMI Ultrasuoni, he works as a session man and arranger for various artists around the world, adapting to various musical genres, demonstrating a certain stylistic versatility.
Many of his former students currently carry out the activity of musician and teacher in prestigious schools scattered around Italy and in foreign countries.
